Activities for National Thank You Month at Ideas+Inspiration

I write a blog post for Upstart each month on one selected topic from the children's activity calendars for their Ideas+Inspiration blog.

For January I wrote about participating in National Thank You Month in your instruction practices and as a school community at large. I framed the post around Gary Chapman's bestselling The Five Love Languages , inciting that we all respond to different ways of giving (and receiving) thanks. Providing opportunities for all students to feel like the can say "thank you" in a way that is meaningful to them is important, so I offered a variety of activities that can be done in the classroom, the library, or school-wide.
