Social Media Do’s and Don’ts with Matthew Winner (KS/MO SCBWI)
I've been invited to lead a webinar on building social media skills for writers and illustrators. The webinar, hosted by the Kansas/Missouri chapter of the Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) will take place this Saturday, February 16th at 8pm Eastern/7pm Central.
This event is open to ALL SCBWI members (not only KS/MO members).
Can't make it on that date and time?
No worries! The webinar will be recorded and accessible to attendees for one week.
Here's the official description:
Would you like to find out how to build a positive online presence as a children’s book author and/or illustrator? Are you curious about how other authors and illustrators use social media to their benefit…and detriment? Join Matthew Winner, school librarian, author, and The Children’s Book Podcast host, for a webinar that will give the inside scoop on the do’s and don’ts of social media. Matthew will also be taking on a small number of social media critiques for SCBWI members, to give you direct feedback on your online presence.
A confirmation email will be sent to you with the webinar viewing information on Wednesday, February 13th. Webinar recordings will be emailed to all registered participants an hour or so after the live event. All recordings are available to view as many times as you wish for one week. Please do not share you log-in information with others.
Note: this will not be a social media use tutorial. Attendees should have at least a working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
